There are quite some similarities if you are comparing Brüno to a well known (at least in Austria) Austrian presenter. The telegraph is featuring a story about our Alfons Haider.

Since the movie hit theaters worldwide there is much fuzz about it all over the internet. Like the previous Sacha Baron Cohen movies it is causing a lot of controversy.
